Student Loan Forgiveness
Child Start is recognized as a not-for-profit, tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore we meet criteria specified by the United States Department of Education that allow our staff to qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, employees working 30 hours or more per week in the public service or non-profit sector can have the remainder of their outstanding debt forgiven after they have successfully made 120 qualified loan payments.
