Health Insurance: We offer three options through BCBS. Employee only coverage starts at $94.14/month.
Dental Insurance: Offered through Delta Dental of KS. Employee only coverage costs $35.61/month. Family coverage is available at an additional cost.
Vision Insurance: Offered through EyeMed. Employee only coverage starts at $14.74/month. Family coverage is available at an additional cost.
Flexible Spending Accounts: Offered through Empower.
Life Insurance and Long Term Disability: Child Start pays the entire cost of a term life insurance policy. Benefit is two times your annual salary.
Supplemental Insurance Coverage: Offered through AFLAC.
Retirement Plan: Each employee can contribute to Child Start’s 403(b) Retirement Plan. After one year of employment, Child Start will match your contribution dollar for dollar (up to 4% of your salary).
Vacation and Sick Leave: Full-time employees earn 10 days vacation per year and 1 sick day per month. Staff who work less than 40hrs/wk earn vacation leave on a pro-rated basis.
Holidays: Child Start offers 8 paid holidays each year, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day with Friday after and Christmas Day.
Mental Health Benefit: Child Start contracts with EMPAC to provide a comprehensive program designed to assist in the early identification and resolution of productivity problems associated with employees who are impaired or likely to be impaired by behavioral problems. These include, but are not limited to: health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional, stress, or other behavioral problems which may adversely affect employee job performance.
