As Child Start’s Head Start Program Director, Dee Rankin is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the field of early childhood education. Dee’s expertise and leadership have been integral in providing high-quality services to children and families in Butler, Harper, and Sedgwick Counties.

Dee’s educational background is impressive, having obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Wichita State University. She later went on to earn a Master of Organizational Leadership degree from Baker University, which has provided her with the tools necessary to lead and manage a large organization like Child Start.

Throughout her career, Dee has held various leadership positions in Child Start’s Head Start program, which has given her a broad perspective of the program’s operations. As Program Director, she is responsible for ensuring that the program is meeting the needs of the children and families it serves while also adhering to federal and state regulations. Dee’s dedication to early childhood education is evident in her work, and her leadership has helped to shape Child Start’s Head Start program into a model for others to follow.
