When we develop supportive relationships with children, we are giving children the guidance and support they need. Providing children with positive ways to address specific behaviors is how we can embrace a child’s development. We may also do this by providing individual guidance to each and every child. Modeling appropriate ways to demonstrate our behaviors in an acceptable way for children. This training will guide you through the ways to effectively respond to children. We will discuss communication techniques to follow. What behaviors to pay attention to and how to define what “normal” really means with behaviors. What does “abnormal” mean and how to address these specific concerns effectively.
