Early Childhood Professional’s work with that children have multiple backgrounds, family life, and culture. It important for us to have the necessary tools to be able to recognize where each child is at and met them there. This is often referred to as Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP). DAP has undergone multiple definitions through the year but yet always recognizes the benefits of individualized learning.
