Dr. Seuss said it best when it comes to respecting everyone. “A person’s a person no matter how small.” Respect is more than just using manners. Respect is recognizing the skills and development of each child. This training will discuss ways to implement a caring, trusting environment built with respect. We will discuss how respect is best learned through role modeling those behaviors. We will learn self-regulation techniques, discuss the differences between praise and encouragement, and create a plan for problem solving skills for all ages. These tactics and techniques can help to managing challenging behavior and overall provide opportunities that can last a lifetime.
