Professional Development

Child Start offers ongoing, in-person training opportunities for child care professionals.   All trainings are approved for licensing hours through KDHE and/or Child Care Aware of Kansas.  You can view the current listing of trainings by clicking here or on the calendar to the right.

Current Rates

Most trainings, unless otherwise specified, have a cost of $10 per hour for non-members. A workshop that is 7:00-9:00 is two hours therefore, the cost would be $20.   Save 30-45% on trainings by purchasing a Professional Membership!

NEW POLICY AS OF JANUARY 1, 2018! All unpaid attendees (walk-ins) will be charged $3 at the door in addition to the training cost.  



Important Information

We appreciate reservations. Payment must be received before a reservation can be made.  Call us at 316-682-1853 to make your reservation with a credit card.  All workshops begin at the listed time.  Doors will be locked at start time. Please notify us if you need special assistance at the training by calling 316-682-1853.
