Goal

To prepare children to enter school and be prepared to learn, we must first identify any supports they will need to succeed. This project will ensure hundreds of children in Butler County receive the ages and stages questionnaires and provide parents and caregivers with the tools they need to help children succeed based on assessment results. Supports include training, educational materials, and best practice approaches demonstrated by Early Childhood Specialists. All of the supports emphasize home to school readiness.

Eligibility

  • Licensed Family/Group Child Care Home Providers
  • Good Standing with KDHE
  • Currently have DCF children enrolled and attending
  • Working computer/internet
  • Active email account
