With a distinguished career spanning over four decades, Rob Pinnell has made significant contributions to both the legal field and the community. From 1980 to 1995, he practiced litigation at a private law firm in Kansas City, MO, before transitioning to a role as Senior Counsel for Koch Companies Public Sector, where he served with distinction until 2019. Rob earned the prestigious AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory in 1995, reflecting his exceptional legal skills and ethical standards.

Rob’s career began with roles in education and testing; he served as Editor and Test Officer at National Testing Service, Inc., in Durham, NC, from 1976 to 1977, and taught English at Neal Junior High School in Durham from 1975 to 1976. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature from Brown University (1974), a Master of Arts in Teaching English Secondary Education from Duke University (1976), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri Law School (1980), where he was a member of the Law Review.

In retirement, Rob dedicates time to community service, including delivering meals to homebound seniors through Meals on Wheels of Wichita since 2020 and participating in the United Way “Read to Succeed” Program at Jefferson Elementary School since 2021. He is an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Wichita, KS.

Married to Kathy Pinnell for 44 years, Rob continues to balance a fulfilling professional legacy with a deep commitment to community service and family.
