One-on-one help from a Specialist

Our Specialists are available to answer questions over the phone and through email.  In some instances, on-site technical assistance may be the best way to help your situation.

Assistance at your home or facility

Sometimes the best way to assess a situation and provide support is by having a professional come out to your site. On-site visits may be a one-time visit or may involve a Specialist coming to your site several times.

Example outline of an on-site technical assistance visit

  • Start with a needs assessment
  • Develop a plan to meet the needs. This plan may include training and more on-site technical assistance.

Specialized Quality Improvement Projects

The Early Childhood Connections program is involved in delivering many specialized quality improvement projects for child care centers and homes. These provide targeted assistance to help meet program outcomes.

Custom on-site training

Training for all of your staff at one time at your location is a great way to obtain the specific support your program needs. Early Childhood Connections staff can discuss your issues and check to see if we have pre-approved training already developed to present at your facility. You may also choose to have on-site technical assistance to bridge the gap between the staff’s learning from the training course and changing practices while actually working with children.
