Businesses

Most of our events count on business support and we welcome new opportunities to partner together to help support our local children!

Child Start is a 501(c)(3) charitable tax-exempt non-profit organization.

Group Volunteering

Many businesses see short and long-term benefits by bringing their staff together to volunteer in the community.  Child Start has many opportunities for your staff to make a difference.

Item & Service Donations

We appreciate material and service donations year-round for our Head Start sites and for our events.  Gift certificates for auction baskets, gifts for door prizes, art supplies for Head Start children are just a few of the examples of things we need to run successful programs and fundraisers.  Fill out the form below or take a look at our special events to contribute.

Sponsorships

Most of our events need sponsors.  This is a great opportunity to advertise your commitment to the community while supporting Child Start at the same time.  Learn about sponsorship opportunities on our event pages or by submitting the form below.

Showcase Your Business

We provide two opportunities for you to exhibit your business each year.

Camp GWC brings in over 300 early childhood professionals who visit the exhibit hall off and on during the day.  Exhibits for this late March/early April even fill up in early February due to popularity.  Visit the Camp GWC page for more information.

Additionally, Child Start hosts an annual Health Fair for its employees on the first Friday of April.  This is a perfect opportunity for businesses focused on mental, physical, or financial health or organizations that can help employees in other ways.  Fill out the form below if you are interested in this opportunity.

Share our Resources about Early Childhood Services

Our services for parents could be what your staff or clients need.  If they have children, they may need child care.  We can provide you with information about Head Start/Early Head Start as well as information on how to find local licensed child care facilities.  We also have handouts on a variety of early childhood issues from nutrition to the importance of play.  Complete our contact form and let us know what kind of information pages/materials you would like.
